First off, congratulations are in order for 3 Rebels athletes who recently announced their commitments to play lacrosse at the D1 level:
Luke Griffin - Maryland University
Zach Marco - Bryant University
Alex Jones-Aiken - Hampton University
Congratulations to these Rebels as they continue on in their post-Rebels careers!
Along with those 3 big announcements, the past week also saw dominating performances from all of our Rebels teams participating at last weekend's TriStar Octoberfest. The day started with our 2029 Black team going 2-1 against 3 of the nation's top ranked teams in the age group. They are looking ready to make a run at the World Series of Lacrosse later this year. The 2030 Aces followed up with a 2-1 record of their own on the day, as they competed in the AA division.
The wins kept rolling in as every other Rebels team went undefeated, starting with the 2031 Stealth. They were the only team in their deep and competitive division to go undefeated, finishing the fall with a nearly perfect 10-1 record. Wrapping up the day, the 2031 Riot, 2032 Archers, and 2033 Kraken all went a perfect 3-0.
In the end, Rebels teams went a combined 16-2 on the day! We give a HUGE congratulations to all of our players and coaches on such great work all around.
